CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — UPDATE: Jurors on Saturday listened to phone calls from jail inmates, in the months surrounding Bianca Horton’s murder. Several of those phone calls included the defendant, Andre Grier, and Cortez Sim’s relatives.

Another phone call between Grier and another gang member revealed that Grier was “supposed to go pick up a van for the other situation”. Jurors had previously been shown the title for a Ford van alongside evidence pictures of chains, zip-ties, gloves, a hammer, and cleaning supplies that were found in the van prosecution says was used to kidnap and murder Bianca Horton.
