Two dead after gunfire at Cleveland workplace, police report

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WATE) — Two men died after gunfire was reported at Barku Plastics in Bradley County on Monday, according to the Cleveland Police Department.

Around 10:21 a.m., officers went to 131 Corporate Drive after reports of gunfire. They found two men — both employees of Barku Plastics — dead, CPD said. Investigators identified a possible suspect who reportedly fled the area in a vehicle. The vehicle was later found outside city limits but still in Bradley County.

Arrest warrant issued for former Harriman city councilman after no-show in court

CPD and the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team are working on the investigation. CPD added that the incident was being investigated as a double homicide.
