CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security says it plans to increase its presence in Chattanooga.
The department went before Governor Bill Lee Tuesday during a budget hearing to ask for more funding.
The department discussed trooper salaries and position openings across the state, as well as the need for legal software to handle public records requests.
