Local Towns Join Forces to Support Families Impacted by Federal Shutdown

The towns of Walden and Signal Mountain in Tennessee are working together to help local families affected by the federal government shutdown. The shutdown has disrupted programs such as SNAP, increasing food insecurity in the area.

Walden and Signal Mountain are donating $7,000 to Signal Mountain Social Services (SMSS). Elected officials are also contributing $6,000.
