CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — A fire Thursday morning could have been much worse for one Chattanooga family, but their dog made sure everyone got out safely, including the family’s other pets.
The fire happened at about 4:30 a.m. at a home on the 4800 block of 16th Avenue in East Lake.
