In the Avondale community, residents are being warned about a suspicious individual who has been reportedly soliciting to those struggling with foreclosure. The man, described as a white male, presents himself as a charitable figure offering assistance to homeowners. However, it appears that his intentions are far from benevolent. He is said to be running a predatory scam, seeking to place a lien on homeowners’ properties under the guise of securing a return on his so-called ‘investment’. This is not how genuine charity works. The individual leaves a disturbingly vague sticky note with the message “I have a question, call me!” and a contact number – Jackson 423- 401- 0664. Residents are being urged to stay vigilant.
