Moving truck catches fire on I-75 in northwest Georgia, no injuries reported

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. — A dramatic tractor trailer fire broke out on I-75 early Sunday morning in northwest Georgia, but thankfully according to the Catoosa County government there were no injuries.

The county government said in a Facebook post that it happened on I-75 North between the Ringgold and Tunnel Hill exits. Crews responded to the fire about 6:30 a.m.

The Facebook post said: “Firefighters and trucks from stations 1,3,4, and 5 arrived at about 6:30 reporting the tractor was fully involved with fire spreading through the trailer and into the woods. The trailer was fully loaded with furniture and other belongings of people moving. There are no injuries to the driver or any fire personnel, and northbound I-75 remains at a crawl as of mid morning.”…
