Charges: Vehicles go airborne after high-speed interstate chase in Hamilton County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — One man faces charges after deputies say he led them on a high-speed chase on I-75 and later caused two vehicles to go airborne.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies tried to stop Tony Pickett on Nov. 16 after he sped through a construction zone, but he took off.

They eventually found his crashed car, on fire, at the Moore Road exit ramp…
