CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — The Chattanooga Beer Board voted Thursday to take action against a controversial bar, after a series of complaints from neighbors about parking, noise, and disorderly behavior.
Board members passed a motion that would let the city of Chattanooga and police conduct a more in-depth review of Shady’s Corner’s operations, including historical complaints and testimony of neighbors from previous meetings.
Police said at Wednesday’s meeting that Shady’s Corner is now in compliance with its permit requirements, and staff are actively monitoring customers by counting people coming and going from the bar…
