Bradley County man charged with attempting to hit judge with car in retaliation

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A Bradley County man is facing charges after the sheriff’s office says he attempted to hit a judge and her dog with his car in alleged retaliation for a previous court case.

On November 19th, the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of an assault involving a local judge in a residential neighborhood in Cleveland.

The judge told deputies, while walking their dog on the side of the road in a neighborhood, a vehicle driven by Joshua Dale Phillip Sanford sped towards them…
