3 dogs rescued from house fire in Chattanooga that officials say was intentionally set

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — 3 dogs were rescued from a house fire in east Chattanooga Wednesday afternoon that the fire department says appears to have been intentionally set.

The Chattanooga Fire Department says around 2:05 p.m., 911 received reports that smoke was coming from a house in the 900 block of Arlington Avenue.

When crews arrived, CFD says they spotted heaving smoke and immediately initiated a fire attack and a primary search.

Three dogs were located and brought outside. McKamey Animal Shelter responded to the scene to assist.

CFD says crews had the fire under control in less than five minutes and there were no injuries…
