Dunlap Fire Department responded to a two car motor vehicle accident on Highway 111 southbound above the scenic overlook with entrapment at 4:20 PM on Tuesday.
Both southbound lanes were blocked both by the wreckage of two trucks and emergency vehicles.
Firefighters used Hurst eDRAULIC tools to extricate the driver of one of trucks by removing the drivers door and cab top. The driver was transported to Erlanger Chattanooga by Puckett EMS with serious injures.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol were on scene for investigation of the accident. Sequatchie County Sheriff’s deputies, TDOT and Griswold Towing were also at the scene…
