Costly challenge ahead: Chattanooga’s outdated bridges spark debate on traffic solutions

Traffic snarls are building at two Chattanooga overpasses that are too narrow to handle today’s rush-hour volumes, creating delays and safety concerns for drivers. Now, one commissioner wants to address that.

One overpass sits along Cummings Highway near I-24. The other is on Tennessee Avenue as you head into Saint Elmo.
