Red Bank denied interest-free loan to cover $700K budget gap from tax miscalculation

RED BANK, Tenn. — Red Bank officials went before Hamilton County commissioners Wednesday asking for financial assistance after an audit revealed they had been shortchanged by thousands of dollars.

That error was due to a miscalculation in property taxes by the Assessor of Property.
