CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — A Hixson woman who pleaded guilty to aggravated neglect that led to the death of her adult stepson with special needs will learn her sentence in Hamilton County court Tuesday afternoon.
Jacqueline Hoover entered her guilty plea earlier this year in connection with the death of John Hoover, who lived with several disabilities.
Prosecutors say the 37-year-old man was left without adequate care, ultimately dying from malnutrition.
