Man accused of serial robbery at a Chattanooga Walmart now faces charges

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A man now faces several counts of burglary after security footage from a Chattanooga Walmart shows him robbing the store multiple times in November, according to an affidavit.

That affidavit says Chattanooga Police officers were called to the Walmart on Cummings Highway at 5 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving for reports of a burglary that happened while the store was closed for the holiday. It says that a Walmart associate was looking over security footage and saw a man in a black beanie, black jacket, jeans, and black shoes lifting the Garden Center gate.

The footage showed the man moving a 43 inch smart tv toward the door. He was seen trying to grab more items before fleeing with the tv in the bed of a green Ford Ranger when the store’s alarm system went off…
