Motorists in Chattanooga, Tennessee, will see lane closures on Interstate 24 in Hamilton County. These closures are part of ongoing work at the I-75/I-24 interchange. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) says contract crews will close lanes in both directions on I-24 on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 9 AM to midnight. The closures will affect I-24 West from the I-75 South Exit ramp to Germantown Road, and I-24 East between mile markers 183 and 185. Exit 184 on I-24 West will also close. Traffic will be rerouted to Exit 183.
More closures are planned from Sunday, December 14, at 9 PM through Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 6 AM.
