CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Residents in the rural parts of Bradley and Polk counties will soon be able to get emergency medical care much closer to home.
The proposed new Parkridge Medical Facility set to be built in Cleveland accepts all major insurance providers.
It will serve as a bridge between those rural communities and Chattanooga hospitals.
This comes as Bradley Medical Center announced that United Healthcare has ended contract negotiations with their hospital, requiring any residents with the insurance provider travel at least another 20 miles for some types of medical care…
