Man charged with vandalism, joyriding on top floor of EPB parking garage in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — Police say a man is facing several charges after investigators linked him to vandalism and vehicle damage at the EPB parking garage in downtown Chattanooga.

The incidents happened on the top level of the garage at 99 East 10th Street on Nov. 23rd and again on Dec. 7th, according to an affidavit we obtained from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Investigators say surveillance video from Dec. 7th shows two vehicles entering the garage and driving to the top floor, where several Polaris side by side utility vehicles were parked. Once there, police say the Polaris vehicles were started and driven recklessly around the garage…
