State probe finds 31+ hours falsely claimed by former Marion County Schools employee

MARION COUNTY, Tenn. — A state investigation has found that a former employee for Marion County Schools falsified timesheets while working under a federally funded Family and Community Engagement Program, according to a report from the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office.

The report says that the former family engagement coordinator at Jasper Middle School submitted inaccurate timesheets totaling at least 31.1 hours between July 22, 2024, and May 31, 2025.
