Wanted woman arrested after backing into patrol car while fleeing State Troopers Saturday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A woman with active Georgia arrest warrants is now in custody after driving recklessly with a child in the car as she fled from Tennessee Highway Patrol in Chattanooga on Saturday.

An affidavit we obtained says a State Trooper stopped a tan Chevy Silverado on Blackford Street around 1:45 p.m. Saturday. It says the Trooper went searched for the registration for the number on the Silverado’s licence plate, and no records showed up.

The Trooper then went to talk to the driver, Christina Washer, to ask for her ID. The affidavit says Washer did not have a driver’s license on her. It also says a child was in the front seat of the car without any kind of seatbelt…
