Food City recently made a series of donations and check presentations to local food banks, nonprofits and holiday outreach programs throughout its multi-state footprint.
Food City and Dietz & Watson partnered to support the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, delivering more than a ton of premium deli meats and a $2,250 check in support of the charity’s hunger-relief work as part of the eighth annual “Families Helping Families” program.
A similar donation went to the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee that same week, with Food City and Dietz & Watson providing a comparable contribution of deli meats and financial support to assist with meal-distribution efforts…
