CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — For some city leaders, the Chattanooga Airport’s recent land purchase is not just about real estate. It is about what comes next for travel, tourism and economic growth in the Scenic City.
The Chattanooga Airport confirms it spent more than two million dollars to purchase two parcels of land along Lee Highway.
Airport officials say there are no immediate plans for the property and that it will be used as needed for future growth.
