BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Bradley County Schools says they will begin training safety teams this week on the use of weapons detection systems at secondary schools in the district.
Staff training will begin at Walker Valley High School on Thursday morning and at Bradley Central High School on Friday morning.
During the training, the district says students will walk through a device similar to those used at sporting events.
The weapons detection systems are designed to enhance security at building entrances while maintaining a smooth arrival process for students and visitors.
