CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WTVC) — A Chattanooga pastor sentenced in a federal COVID fraud case says he was “stunned, shocked and paralyzed” by the charges and asked the court for mercy by detailing his life story, faith and business background in a letter to the judge.

Ricky Lee Taylor Jr., who was sentenced Thursday to 30 months in federal prison, submitted the letter to U.S. District Judge Travis McDonough Atchley ahead of sentencing.
