LOWEST GAS PRICES IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA LEAD STATEWIDE STABILITY AT THE PUMP

Drivers in Dade, Catoosa and Walker counties continue to enjoy some of the most affordable fuel in Georgia, with the **Catoosa-Dade-Walker region reporting the lowest average regular gasoline price in the state at approximately $2.52 per gallon as of Monday — well below the statewide average.

Georgia’s overall average price for a gallon of regular unleaded inched up just one cent this week to $2.66 per gallon, according to the latest AAA report, though daily shifts at local stations remain possible.

That slight increase still leaves drivers paying:

  • 1 cent more than last week
  • 12 cents less than last month
  • 27 cents less than this time last year
  • For a typical 15-gallon fill-up, that means a cost of about $39.90.

“With crude oil prices holding steady since the end of 2025 and fewer drivers fueling up, gas prices have stayed on the lower side,” said Montrae Waiters, spokeswoman for AAA-The Auto Club Group.
