Drivers in Dade, Catoosa and Walker counties continue to enjoy some of the most affordable fuel in Georgia, with the **Catoosa-Dade-Walker region reporting the lowest average regular gasoline price in the state at approximately $2.52 per gallon as of Monday — well below the statewide average.
Georgia’s overall average price for a gallon of regular unleaded inched up just one cent this week to $2.66 per gallon, according to the latest AAA report, though daily shifts at local stations remain possible.
That slight increase still leaves drivers paying:
- 1 cent more than last week
- 12 cents less than last month
- 27 cents less than this time last year
- For a typical 15-gallon fill-up, that means a cost of about $39.90.
“With crude oil prices holding steady since the end of 2025 and fewer drivers fueling up, gas prices have stayed on the lower side,” said Montrae Waiters, spokeswoman for AAA-The Auto Club Group.
