EAST RIDGE, Tenn. — Police in East Ridge have identified the person who was shot and killed at a Waffle House on Ringgold Road Sunday night. They also have announced that 2 people are now in custody.
Police identified the victim as 26 year old Mayco Bravo Gonzalez of East Ridge. Investigators say he was shot several times from behind while sitting inside the restaurant and later died at the hospital.
Officers were called to the Waffle House at 6513 Ringgold Road Sunday night.
When they arrived, they found Gonzalez on the floor with several life-threatening gunshot wounds. Officers began first aid until EMS arrived. Gonzalez was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead…
