Cleveland Police make arrest after responding to gun threat at residence

Saturday afternoon, Cleveland Police urged residents to steer clear of Linda Drive SE during their response to an emergency call.

Officials are now saying that 61-year-old Michael Newman was arrested at a home in the area after police say they received a call at 1:04 p.m. regarding a domestic situation.

A female caller told police that Newman had a 9mm pistol and threatened to shoot her, along with himself.
