CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The identity of the driver of the white SUV police chased through Bradley and Polk Counties on Wednesday has now been released, and multiple warrants are out for his arrest.
Cleveland Police say Thomas Larry Burns is wanted for his involvement in Wednesday’s multi-county pursuit. He was driving the white SUV, and seen talking to associates of David Rodriguez Cruz. Police were also searching for Cruz, who faces an attempted first degree murder charge for a stabbing in Athens
Burns faces the following charges connected to that incident involving Cleveland Police officers and other law enforcement:
- Aggravated assault on law enforcement (3 counts)
- Felony evading
