BASF Chattanooga Accepting Applications for 2026 TECH Academy

BASF’s Chattanooga site, in partnership with Chattanooga State Community College, will host its annual TECH Academy program, which introduces high school students to technical and craft careers through skills classes, workshops, and industry tours. Beginning the week of June 8, participating students will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM)-related career fields through hands-on learning with industry professionals.

The program will show participants what it is like working as an operator, instrument technician, maintenance technician, lab technician, welder and many other jobs.

“TECH Academy provides students with an immersive and inspiring learning experience, blending engaging classroom instruction with behind-the-scenes tours of local manufacturing facilities,” said Brittany Davis, Operations Manager at BASF’s Chattanooga site. “By connecting students directly with industry professionals, our TECH Academy program helps them discover the wide range of career paths available.”…
