CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — State lawmakers in Tennessee are pushing for a resolution to secure the right to grow food at home, a move they describe as a fundamental right.
“I don’t think anyone should be restricted from growing their own food in their backyard if they choose to do so,” said Jose Barbosa, a professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
