LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Tenn. — Multiple agencies helped rescue a climber who fell on the Bluff Trail a several feet away from Lookout Mountain’s Sunset Rock on Sunday afternoon.
A Facebook post from the Chattanooga Hamilton County Rescue Service says a technical carryout was needed after the climber fell nearly 30 feet.
The Rescue service says they worked with Lookout Mountain’s fire and police departments, from both the Georgia and Tennessee sides, and the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park to get the climber to the Sunset Rock Trailhead.
