Chattanooga restaurant owner taken into ICE custody after traffic arrest in Walker County

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The owner of a popular Mexican restaurant in south Chattanooga is now in ICE custody after a traffic arrest across the state line in Georgia.

Guillermina Solano-Chala, known to many customers as ‘Miss G,’ was arrested January 23 in Walker County, according to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office.

Records list charges of no insurance, driving without a valid license, and headlight requirements. The Sheriff’s Office says the Georgia State Patrol made the arrest.
