CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga officials are responding to citizen concerns about immigration enforcement within the city.
Police Chief John Chambers spoke at city council Tuesday to clarify that the department is not involved in the arrest of undocumented immigrants.
Last week, some residents attended a city council meeting, asking for Chattanooga leaders to resist ICE involvement in the city.
