CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The Caring Place was founded in 2000, when churches across the Cleveland area came together, combining their resources to help those facing poverty in their community.
Executive Director Corinne Freeman says the organization has seen an increase in need, especially in its resource market over the past several years as inflation continues to be a problem for families.
We have individuals who have expressed that it’s harder to meet their budget, says Freeman.
