On Friday, February 13, a truck fire occurred on Highway 399 in Sequatchie County.
The Cagle Mountain Fire Department responded at approximately 2:40pm to reports of a vehicle fire and arrived to find the truck fully involved. The fire was spreading into the adjacent tree line.
Crews requested mutual aid from the Fredonia Fire Department for additional tanker support. Firefighters acted promptly to contain both the brush fire and the vehicle fire, successfully clearing the scene and resuming service by 3:30pm. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident…
