Former Chattanooga teacher who admitted to enticing minors learns federal prison fate

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — A case that exposed hiring practices at a Chattanooga charter school returned to federal court Wednesday as the former teacher at its center learned how much time he’ll spend in prison.

Kenya White, the former Chattanooga Preparatory School teacher who admitted to enticing minors, faced a new hearing in federal court in Chattanooga on Wednesday.

White was sentenced on Wednesday to 225 months (roughly 18 years) in prison for multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
