Students from the Jail School Program at the Northwest Georgia College and Career Academy visited the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office on February 25 for a hands-on training day. The program, in partnership with the Whitfield County School System, helps students earn their Jail Certification by graduation, preparing them for careers in corrections across Georgia.
This session focused on cell searches, where students practiced identifying contraband and applying safety protocols under the guidance of detention staff.
