HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — UPDATE: A woman has been arrested in connection to the crash on Hixson Pike Sunday morning that caused the road to be closed for several hours, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
That release says the crash happened just after 3 in the morning. Investigators say Jessica Highfield was driving north on the 73000 block of Hixson Pike in a Chevy Suburban when she crossed lanes and utility pole.
The pole did not stop the car, which then hit a fence belonging to a storage business, and several parked campers just inside the fence…
