CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Prescribed burns underway in northwest Georgia are causing smoky conditions, leading to an air quality advisory across parts of the Chattanooga area, according to the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau.
The National Park Service (NPS) says controlled burns are taking place March 5–6th at Chickamauga Battlefield in Georgia and at additional sites in Walker County.
