One year after Lafayette man vanished, family and sheriff renew plea for tips

LAFAYETTE, Ga. — Friday marks one year since Timothy McSears disappeared from his home in Lafayette, Georgia, leaving his family and the Walker County Sheriff’s Office still searching for answers.

McSears was last seen at his residence on McSears Drive March 6th, 2025. He was reported missing two days later, on March 8.
