LAKESITE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A mother and her daughter are breathing a sigh of relief after a large tree crashed onto their vehicle Tuesday morning in the Lakesite area.
According to the Chattanooga Fire Department, a woman was driving her daughter to school through the “S curves” portion of Hixson Pike when a tree fell on top of their small SUV. Photos from the scene show the trunk lying across the hood of the vehicle, with broken limbs and branches on the vehicle’s roof and rear hatch.
