WHITFIELD COUNTY — A driver was taken into custody on Monday, March 16 after fleeing from Whitfield County deputies in his vehicle and on foot following a traffic stop.
The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) says deputies initiated a stop on a driver at mile marker 332 on I75 for stolen plates on a wrong vehicle.
The driver appeared to stop briefly but then fled in his vehicle, eventually crashing in Murray County on Highway 225 at Smyrna Church Road, the WCSO says…
