Relief on the Way: Georgia Gas Tax Suspension Set to Take Effect
ATLANTA, GA — Relief could soon be on the way for drivers across Georgia, including here in Dade County, as Governor Brian Kemp prepares to sign legislation suspending the state’s motor fuel tax.
The Georgia General Assembly has passed House Bill 1199, which temporarily suspends the gas tax in an effort to provide immediate financial relief to families and commuters.
