WASHINGTON — A recently unsealed indictment reveals that a couple from Hixson was charged with plotting to defraud the IRS of more than $700,000.
According an indictment unsealed on March 18, Hixson couple Tara and Tzephanayah Abraham, also known as Tara Lyn Pruitt and Stephen Williams, and an associate in Texas started the scheme in August of 2020.
