CHATTANOOGA – Tennessee Tech battled on the second day of the Ohio Valley Conference Play Day weekend at Chattanooga, but couldn’t get the upper hand as the Golden Eagles dropped 5-0 decisions to both Eastern Illinois and UT Martin.
Tech (2-17, 0-6 OVC) returns to action on Friday and Saturday as the Golden Eagles compete at the APSU Classic in Clarksville.
Kaesha Walter and Jordyn Hamlin, as well as the duo of Piper Jones and Kyana Gabriel, took their matchups into the third set.
