CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — In honor of National Vietnam Veterans Day, Mission BBQ on Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga recognized those who served during the Vietnam War.
The celebration included speeches from ex-military personnel, a dove release, and a gun salute.
A Purple Heart Vietnam veteran also shared his story with us.
Winston Knowles served as a E5 sergeant in the marines from 1966-1968 and has lived in Chattanooga since 1976.
