Cooling Assistance Available Through LIHEAP Program in Georgia

ATLANTA — Eligible Dade County residents can now apply for cooling assistance through the Georgia Department of Human Services’ Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP.

The federally funded program helps low-income households, seniors, and individuals with disabilities cover cooling costs during the warmer months by providing direct payments to energy providers.
