CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — No one was injured when a postal delivery vehicle caught fire near Brainerd Road in Chattanooga Tuesday, but USPS says some letter mail was destroyed in the flames.
USPS says the mail carrier was not hurt and had completed most of the route for the day when the fire occurred.
All packages had already been delivered, but USPS says a small amount of letter mail inside the vehicle was deemed unsalvageable.
The incident remains under investigation…
