SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Three people were displaced and one firefighter was hurt following a townhouse fire Tuesday afternoon on Old College Drive, according to Suffolk Fire and Rescue.
Crews responded to the 6000 block of Old College Drive for a report of a townhouse fire at approximately 4:20 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy smoke showing from the second floor of a two-story multi-family building.
Fire officials say the second-floor unit sustained extensive fire damage to the kitchen with smoke damage throughout the remainder of the residence. The first-floor unit was not affected by fire…
